Default Jerks in Blue

Well after 2 years and 2 days of having my car in the state they finally pulled me over for not having my front license plate on.

Also need to get all my windows retinted. The sides are 45% and legal limit is 50. Rear is 35% and mine read 33%

Cost to redo all windows - $250. [:@]

Jerks.

That sucks... limit in PA is no darker than 30%, however I always go 5% on rear, and two side windows, passenger and driver sides I do 20%, mainly because I am also a DJ, and transport my equipment, so I use my business as an excuse to use "privacy tint" to prevent thieves.

Hey, you realize that when you get pulled over, the first thing you should do is roll down BOTH passenger and driver's side windows, so that police will not question your tint. It works for me EVERY time!

Sorry for your loss Dan

That sucks! At least you can get your front side windows tinted, here in IL it's totally Illegal.I can't beleive they checked the percent of your tint. I never had any problems with not having a front plate and I've had my car since Nov 02. I don't drive it everyday anymore though, my Monte is my show car and I have another car I drive when weather is bad.

WoW `Dan [X(]$250 [X(]
That would break my piggy bank : (
Did you also get a ticket for no front plate ?
My grandfather always tells me to obey the laws, or work
to change the ones that are unfair.
I know I wouldn't want to be a police officer in today's world : (
I can understand their position when they can't see inside
someone's vehicle that they have stopped, but I also love
the look of dark tint, especially on a Black Intimidator : )
I'm still paying the price for traffic tickets, plus super high
risk insurance. I'm slowly learning, but the lessons have
been very expensive.
We live, & sometimes we learn : ) `If we don't, we have
to pay the consequences of our acts.
(The Beach Bums are look'in over my shoulder as I type, &
are laughing stating that I'm sounding more like
my grandfather everyday : ).
Sorry, you got caught.....there goes some `mod Money : (
`Dan, we wish you better Luck as you travel your
highways of life.
Peace Out,
`Space & the Bum's

No ticket, just written warning. I'm going to look into seeing if there is a work around on the tinting as I do carry expensive tools in the back seat.

California doesn't have it, but I'm always amused in other states when the cop pulls your over for 30 minutes, writes the ticket, and then checks off the "WARNING" box instead of the "CITATION" box at the top of the ticket.

Someone told me that's how they caught Timothy McVeigh.

Sorry to hear the cops don't like your Monte as much as we do.

Getting a ticket is never fun.

People love to run up my @$$ when I drive, give me mean looks or the one finger salute. A few have even wanted to fight cause I drive the posted speed limit. I happen to like my money in my pocket very much. Thetax people (and in turn the cops) get enough of my money!!!

Look on the bright side of this. The cop thought you have a super cool car. Cool enough to harrass.

And looks like you can mark this cop off as not being a car guy.

Definately not a car guy. =P He totally missed the speeding BMW that pulled away from me in the construction zone... would have been a $600 ticket for him but got me instead... must not have had his radar up yet.

Don't blame the cops for a stupid law- blame your elected legislators who enacted the law. Also, you can blame the voters who put these people in office.
