It's What's For Dinner: MCF Favorite Recipes
I've worked with so many guys in tool shops down thru the 40 years of my career that not only like to eat, but like to cook, and DO cook most if not all of their dinners at home, me included. Some of the food that gets shared at work is AMAZING! So I'm starting a thread of "It's What's For Dinner" starting with a couple of our favorite recipes that I'll share, hoping that this will grow and we as the MCF Family can share recipes with our family here. Pictures will be nice, also.
GLAZED BAKED PORK CHOPS:
Ingredients:
4 Pork Chops
2 tbs. soy sauce
2 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
4 tbs. vegetable oil
2 tsp. lemon juice
4 tbs. ketchup
4 tbs. brown sugar
1/2 small onion diced fine
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Blend all the ingredients except the chops in a small bowl.
3. Place the pork chops in a medium baking dish and spread with 1/3 of the sauce. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
4. Turn and spread another 1/3 of the sauce. Cover and bake another 10 minutes.
5. Uncover and bake a final 20 minutes until 145 degrees.
6. Use the extra 1/3 of the sauce to go with a side dish of rice, such as Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice.

CORN CASSEROLE
Ingredients:
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sour cream
1 (14.75 oz.) can creamed corn
1 (11 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 box (8.5 oz.) box dry Corn Bread mix (Jiffy).
1/4 lb. lean thick sliced bacon
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease (butter) a 9x9 or similar baking dish.
2. Mix all ingredients except the bacon in a medium mixing bowl. Spoon into the prepared baking dish and cover with the sliced bacon.
3. Bake for 45 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Served tonight with a side of tossed salad and your favorite drink (like a Samuel Adam's Boston Lager), it's what's for dinner!
