I'm with Chibi Mike and Rick. I like it when the sun is up longer in the evening. I work midnights. And by the time I wake up in the afternoon (in wintertime), it's dark again.

When I work over nights. I like the Sun or daylight till 9:30 pm gives me time to do things outside. Here in Az they don't do it. They say they get enough Sun ! And I have to agree. Since we been here in Dec. Its rained once. And that was after midnight & only enough to make the dust on the Coblat stand out. Only thing that can be a problem is trying to go to see when its a beautiful day out and the Sun is coming thru the bedroom window. I have DARK curtains that go up on the nights I have to work. Or sleep downstairs in one of the spare bedrooms. BUT thats a small price to pay !

I hate it not getting dark till 930 or 10 in the evening during the summer. When I was working construction and getting up at 4am to beat the worst of the heat, it was hell trying to get to sleep in the evening cause it was still light out. 9 is about the latest I like it getting dark. I'd rather it be light when I'm doing PT early in the morning. And naturally every time they bump it forward I have drill that weekend (like I do this weekend).

Bump

Tonight is the night to roll those clocks ahead 1 hour before you go to bed. Today would also be a good time to replace the battery in your smoke detectors.

Also replace the batteries in your NOAA weather radio as well. If you don't have one, you need to get one. "I didn't know" is not an excuse when severe weather strikes.
