So what kind of trouble can I get in to for the next 12 days?

My plans are: See if I can get my very first car running again?
Drop in 327. Headers.
Install 4-speed.
Re-hang the rear end and leaf springs.

I still need to clean/paint a gas tank. I can use to existing steel lines for the gas at the moment. Just take my air gun and blow any debris out.

'68 327. original '57 Chevy 2x4 set up.

Saginaw 4-speed & shifter. (I was told the trans is from a '64 Vette when I bought it)

Rear housing painted.

New rear tires. 245/60/14s on 14x8 S/S Cragars. Fronts are 215/70/14s on a 14x7 S/S wheel.

 

Clean motors are beautiful.

 

So am I at 5PM did I mention CAR SHOW THIS WEEK-END!!!!

I just got back from O Reilly's getting my oil & filter for the Chevelle. I more fun up there than should be allowed. What kind of oil are you using in that Mouse ??

Isn't it funny ? That you work harder on vacation then you do at work ! I know I do. I used to work 10 to 12 hrs daily 7 days a week. Then when I retired. I said how in the hell did I ever have time to do all this ? LMAO

 

Same here. My vacation started this past Monday. Go back to work July 1st.
