Which version are you using? I could send you a copy of v. 10 or 12 if you want, that way you could get up to speed.

Todd, I am a graphic artist as well as a monte lover. I am actually working on something that will make all montecarloforum.com members VERY happy, I think. I am trying to get a copyright on it first so that people don't start trying to steal it, but I would release it the forum for exclusive use. I am waiting to hear back from Chevrolet to have it approved. I will keep everyone posted.

Oh...and I agree about the sleeper monte. I would like to take a cue from Jay Leno when he had that Toronado rebuilt. Convert to rear wheel drive, 6-speed corvette manual tranny with white-balled Hurst shifter, LS7 under the hood: naturally aspirated with all the go-fast goodies you can imagine, nitrous. WHITE NUCKLES, BABY!!!!!!!

 

Oh yeah, I remember that Tornado.. That is a sweet ride. That is quite an offer to help out Space..!! I've played around with PS and got pretty good, but I like to master things and move on. So needless to say I am sure I am a bit rusty. How good are you at logos and other web stuff? Have any examples on-line?

BiggJ, are you going to SEMA this year? Must be nice to live in the city that never sleeps. I would have said the other slogan but it just seems so cheap..

I have a friend who comes up from the island who can get me into SEMA under his company, so I hope that comes through, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to go...only people in the biz can go to the show.

Here are a couple examples of what I do. The company I work for right now is about to roll out a brand new web-app. I have been doing all the graphics for it...I'll send you a link when it comes out.

These are:
(1) The logo I created from scratch for Minotaur Enterprises, a company I was partner of. My partner was an AutoCAD designer, and I did custom-built computers/repairs/refurbishing. (2) A chop I did for my sister. She wanted to see what her car would look like in red. Re-coloured the car and chopped her out of another pic and lay her over the top of this pic.

space i actually use Photo shop CS or 9.0 as far as i know it is the most recent version out but there are rummors of a newer one commign out soon.

I never did like correl it seems to be more of a pain in the **** then it was worth or at least it was to me.
I am self taught , i used it at first for playing with like you are here then i started to get serious about it and started to use it for my photos and retouching things.

I built our club logo out of it by taking parts from flags and curtin rods and making those the flag poles then i added the chevy bow tie, ford oval and the dodge ram the ram's head i did with the flag behind it. at the time of doing it i hadent seen any others like it when i made it now they seem to be poping up every where LOL

but hey i will take any tips&tricks your willing to share and vise versa if ya need some help let me know if i know how to do it i will help you out. or i might know where to find it on the web.,

Also plug ins for photo shop cs the real ones not the trial vesrions you can never get enough of them lol
