I have one surviving Uncle from both parents and just two aunts.
It's not easy and I cherish each memory and time with them.

Thank you so much to everyone.

I just wish I could have spent a little time with my uncle before he was gone. If not than, at least be there now. Since UPS offers no time off for aunts and uncles, I know they would use this against me if I were to leave to attend my uncle's funeral.

A co-worker told me his uncle lost his barn and 200 head of sheep last week. Then just yesterday this same man was killed in a head-on with a semi. What a way to go.

RJ, very sorry for the loss of your uncle. My sincere condolences to you and your family. He sounds like he was a great man. He's in a better place now, with no pain or suffering. Now is the time to remeber all the great times he had with you and your family.
