Default IDEA FOR FUN!!!

Well once i get some new tires on my car that have some REALLY GOOD grip, and we get a few days of dry pavement (heres hoping) Me and my buddy who owns a F150 are gonna go find a parking lot or sumthing to have a pull off. His truck vs my car. I have a bigger engine and more power and am pretty sure more torque but hes got me on size and weight im sure... This is purely for fun and he will be in 2WD so its a fair pull off. Also, YES!!! I WILL BE CAMCORDING THIS AND POSTING IT HERE!!! Let me know what u guys think LOL

pick up trucks have no weight on their back tires, put some sandbags in your trunk

Unless the truck is near the weight of your Monte I don't see him pulling you.

Smaller engine + added weight will be to his DIS-advantage.

Trim level, like LS, LT, LTZ, SS for example are the trim levels of newer Chevys.

I can't wait to see the vid.

I sure hope for your sake the truck has the 5.0 V8 in it. If it has the 300I6 or the 351w V8, you will lose for sure. The 300 I6 has very little powerbut it has alot of torque way down low. The 351w has a good bit of power, alot of torque and it too makes it down low. The 5.0 is a decent engine but I dont think it will out pull you. Thats the only way you will win, other than praying that the 8.8 ford rear end blows. Lol. Can you tell I like ford trucks?

You are also at a disadvantage because your car sits lower. While the rear of the truck is picking up on your rear, causing you to lose traction, the weight of your car will be pulling down on his rear, causing him to gain traction.

I still want to see a vid, I think it will be cool no matter who wins.
