ok Vid TOMORROW Windows open and that should let you hear her whine the bass in my system in my room cloaks it so I am assuming you have the same issue ill catch my little spooling type noise tomorrow

That's not going to change the sound at all, that looks about stock as far as how open it is also.

A whine wouldn't come from the intake either, the intake just makes it a deeper noise.

I would close the hole to be honest.

I heard it in that video, I heard it in the first video. Like I said before, there shouldn't be a whine.

My co-worker made a suggestion, maybe its your alternator?

When I bought a new alternator from work for my last car it had a noticable whine to it..

Alternator is what I was thinking too.

It could still be producing power, just being noisy for some reason?

I guess for that fact, it could be any of the the belt driven components wearing out.

Honestly, I still can't hear any whine that seems troubling ...

the car is on it's 4th alternator of life it's not weak currently and it looks fine inside my uncle warned me it burns through them so he claimed... belt never slips so I'm Assuming the belt is fine.


Last pic is of the pcv that was replaced for a leak. could it just be because of my rear main Seal leak

4 alternators? That seems excessive..
