I refuse to do it
OK 4 days ago it was 90 degrees here. Yesterday it got down to 32 degrees in the am. The high yesterday was 58. This morning it's 45 degrees at 6 am. I REFUSE TO TURN ON THE HEAT! It's like giving up & saying ok winter is here. But the weather man says its suppose to be near 80 again next week. Thank you very much! I have sweats on this am. 1st time in months I've had long pants on & a sweatshirt. This sucks ! Oh by the way it's 66 in here this morning Brrr. Think i'll need another pair of socks or my slippers.. I'm holding my coffee with both hands right now. I HATE WINTER

Reminds me of when I dated this girl from Richmond, VA. (We live in NE N. Carolina) It was Winter time, so probably 40's?
We were watching the weather channel and they were covering a blizzard in MN. Jim Cantore (or whoever) said "Blowing snow and -30 today".
My girlfriend turns to me and says: "Who would ever want to live up there?"

I hate winter too. They're not as bad here in TN as they were back home in Oklahoma (Seen it drop 60+ degrees in 5 hours back home and snow came 6" at a time) but the last two winters have been the worst since I've lived in this part of the country (10 years now). Last year saw the first white Christmas since I left Oklahoma so that was actually a pleasant surprise. Brought back some childhood memories.
