Question I need tips to detail Lola over spring break

As most of you know i did a bad job on the clearcoat respray on my hood (was windy when I did it). So my plan is to do a wet sand with my drill and polish same as if I was restoring headlights. what wax do you guys recomend also have to get rid of damage from people keying it and pop a bunch of dents maybe my major one. now i want the best wax for my car and the black grand am because my mom wants it waxed. what wax would be best for both colors and enough for both cars. I would say a budget of 40 bucks for both cars my parents would be ok with and I shall ask my dad what brand he liked to use best on his mustang that was a grey paint tho.

I like the Meguiers NXT tech wax. It works really nice and its only 20 or so a bottle or less on sale. 1 bottle should be enough to do a few cars. Here is a link to that. MeguiarsDirect.com:NXT Generation® Tech Wax® 2.0 NXT Generation® Tech Wax® 2.0

I also tried the armor all butter smooth wax it was about 8 bucks and works nice too.

$40 is a bit tight if you want stuff that works.
I've always used meguiars, & their ultimate line works amazing on black. Use the ultimate trio, compound, polish & liquid wax(or paste) together to get the best results.

I sugest not taking your drill to sand it you are very likly to pull way more paint off than you want to, wet sandin would be best done by hand, but if your wet sanding easiest way to remove those marks would be with a machine, doiable by hand but not easy,

Also A megs *****
