All to often we take things for granted. Like the time we have to spend with family or friends. Only by GOD's loving grace are we allowed to see tomorrow.

Thank you everyone. She isn't suffering anymore. The funeral is on the 14th and a bunch of relatives are coming in from out of town - some of who I haven't seen for 20 years.

 

Not to be rude or anything here, but why so far out on the funeral? Usually about 4-5 days.

 

Well since most of the people who are coming in are from out of town, that would give them enough time to make arrangements. Another reason is that Passover starts on the 8th and it is against Jewish tradition to have a funeral on the first 2 days of that holiday. The last reason is that she is being cremated and there is a little bit of red tape with that whole thing that I don't fully understand. Again, it might be a Jewish thing.
