I was burglarized today...
No joke. I came home and my front door was kicked in. This never happened to me. It kinda sucks.
I wish I could post pics, but they got my cameras. They (or likely he) didn't get much really. Seem like it was one guy who took what he could carry. The TV's were left. He got my PS3 and the peripherials, my cameras and a load of jewelry from my wife. Stole a gift bag out of my front closet to carry it in.
Thank god he missed the iPad! it was under a bunch of loose papers, mail, etc. Still got TV. The door is buggered. The insurance dude is on his way to fix the door at 10PM - that's gonna cost.
I dunno, I think I kinda got lucky cause I do got some good stuff up in here. My wife's pretty sad cause she lost some heirlooms

Some people are just down right pathetic and a waste of space. Its times like these when natural selection needs to make better selections...
Try and check out the pawnshops for your ps3 if you have the serial number written down somewhere. Some police chops wont go that far.

Seems like a good idea. I called the police and they came out and took a report. I don't think they're too interested in investigating further. How likely are pawn shops to let me check serial numbers?

That sucks, happened to my grandparents years ago. I keep anything of value in my safe now which is bolted to the floor and weighs a couple of hundred pounds.

I can't help but be a little disappointed in my wife. She used to live in Vancouver and this is something like her 5th break-in, but she still kept her valuable gold on the dresser. Easy pickin's. But I guess once he had that loot he took off with the easy score and left more of my crap alone...

personally speaking, I think I have an internal burglar living here now? My brother is living on the first floor ......
