HSV Maloo
Hey MC Family. Here is a small thread about the HSV Maloo. Think of it as a modern El Camino.

I know Australians love these, but I can't find the appeal myself. Admittedly, I'm not at all a truck guy (of any kind). Giving up half or more of the vehicle's permanent space to unsecured carrying of bulky / dirty things (stuff you wouldn't want inside a vehicle) seems like a pretty limited scope of usage - construction, ranching, etc. If you do those kinds of jobs, these utes seem even worse as the bed space is very limited, especially with the hard top cover. Reminds me of the SSR.
I will say its neat to see something different. We've had one at the local cruise in before (although not an LSA). Personally though, I'd rather just have a g8/SS/caprice if I wanted another Australian car.
