Default HP for the truck

Some of you may remember I gave my son the MC a few months back. Before I did, I had plans to add a K&N FIPK and performace chip to it. I decided he didn't need that added to the car until he becomes a better driver (and can pay for the upgrades himself!) so, I bought it all for my truck!

i drive an '07 **** F-150 with the 5.4l 3 valve V-8 and auto trans. I added aFlowmaster cat back dual exhaust system witha 40 series muffler (didn't want it too loud). I was surprised to seethe truckcomes with dual cats. i also added a K&N FIPK and a Superchips reprogrammer. I set the reprogrammer on the 3rd setting (hi-po) and now have to run 93 octane gas, which is OK because my company funishes a gas card for me.

Ihave to say, it now runs like a scalded dog and howls like a crazed wolf at WOT.I am amazed at the power increase and shift firmness. Factory HP was rated at 300, I'd love to see how much it increased, but it seems the torque is what really improved. You can reallyfeel it in the seat of your pants. Gas mileage has increased 1 mpg, but I'm going to have to learn to keep my foot out of it if I'm going to see any noticable increase in MPG, which was my original intent. I love it!
