It's not too bad out today. Kind of overcast and we did have some flurries.

I managed to get the oil and filter changed in my '94 Shadow ES today which ment pulling one of the '57s out so I could get the Shadow in the barn. Now to get the '57 back out in the barn.

I saw story once a guy bought a '55 Chevy convertible that had spent the bette part of 20 years setting next to the ocean. They tore what was left of the car apart without a single hand tool. They were able to pull what was left of both rear quarters off the car just by pulling on them. Same for the doors and any other piece of sheet metal the car had (if that's what you could call it?).

 

Right now it is 35 degrees F and cloudy.They are calling for some light snow,a coating to an inch overnight in Philadelphia and surrounding areas,with snow and rain mixed at the shore.We only had a trace of snow so far this winter.Our driveway would take my wife and I a few hours to shovel in the past so we finally got a nice snowblower....2 stage with 8 hp,electric start and all,and only used it ONCE!!!!I guess having it will keep the snow away!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah, I don't have a snowblower and its snows all the dang time! Want to sell yours??

 

Our snowblower was my father's.Right after he passed away,more people than I can remember asked me "What are you going to do with your dad's snowblower? Do you want to sell it?" Apparently a lot of neighbors knew he had one,and wanted to buy it.His barber even called me one night and offered to come that night for it with cash!! But I am planning to keep it,then it won't snow.I did manage to sell his 85 Cadillac that he had to a neighbor.He bought it in 1985 as a demo and kept it in the heated garage since new.

it is always cold in Chicogo!! even in thesummer time they are cold there. LOL J/K

 

 

why is it that tornado's always take out trailer parks

Happened about 40 miles north of here and death toll is up to 14 and they are still searching.
