I don't think I've ever seen this kind of thread on here before. So if you Ride. What do you ride? And how often ? There was a time back in the early 80's. That if the wife needed anything from the store or what ever. I'd jump on the bike and go get it. Any excuse to get on the bike. It didn't change as I got older either. I sold my last Harley about 7 yrs ago. To buy a Muscle car. Yeah it was fun for a while. But not the same at all! I miss the that kind of lifestyle. Like the old saying goes. If I have to explain ! You'll never understand. With a Harley. No matter where your at. If you meet someone that is ridin one you have a friend When I 1st started to ride. I think I was month or 2 into it. I had a off brand bike at the time. I pulled over on the side of the rd. Cause the stuff i had on the back was falling off. So I got off and was readjusting it. When two guys in black on Harley's pulled over behind me. I didn't even clinch . I just kept doing what I was. They both walked up to me and asked if everything was alright ? I told then yes and what I was doing. These two guys didn't look like anything I'd want to **** off . I told them thanks for stopping and checking. They said rules of the road son. If you ever see anyone on the side of the rd. Pull over and help or ask. I've done that for now going on 40 yrs.I don't care what brand it is. I stop even if I'm in a car. I miss the ride and the people that own bikes! I hope to be on one sooner then later Now tell me your story

 

I've had a 71 CB350, an 81 CB350, an 83 Magna 700 and an 84 Magna 750. Got cut off with the last one, fractured the ball of my knee and tour the ACL and Maniscis, rode that bike two days later, just around the Block. The Fixed it, rode it one more time then sold it. Still not sure if I want another one. My son just bought a FZ 800. I've ride that recently. He wants me for get one so we an cruise together. Maybe, if I had the Spare $$$!!! I will get one.

Parents used to ride motorcycles for a long time, They sold them a few years back. Dad had a Kawasaki Vulcan 800 and my mom had a Suzuki burgman 400, before that she had a 80's Honda Elite 250. I used to ride along with my dad. I've thought about getting my motorcycle license, maybe one day. Cars tickle my taste buds a little more than motorcycles do though

 

I have the trusty but rusty 89 cbr600F well its not rusty but its nice just rolled over to 51.000 miles owned if for about 4 months and assembled around 5k mles so I ride daily as long as possible
