The FWD V8 on snow/ice takes some getting used to, that's all I have to say. I remember the first time I drove the 06 in the snow and it took forever to get traction from stops. There's definitely a learning curve to working the accelerator.

Haha even on the V6's on a wet road. The malibu I rented had massive throttle lag, so first time through a wet turn from a stop when I got red back was fun

I just mean its not fun to drive in the winter because its such a nice car that I wouldn't want to put it through all the slush and salt. I have never had this car in snow but I can imagine it not being too fun.

I did have a 95 Z34 up until 2011 which was winter driven and I must say that this car was pretty good in the snow. It did have a nice weight like you said and with good tires it never left me stranded.

At the moment the whole car is a little messy...its snowing today and the roads are pretty salty... Interior is moderately clean, a bag with towels (for any excess snow in the car) my snow brush, a couple of things in the back seat (emergency tool box, hat and gloves)
Also need to clean up the dirt on the floor, but its not too bad.

I'm waiting for most of the snow to melt before I wash the Exterior. The interior could use a good vacuuming. And I have some stuff, Tools and such that I could move to the Trunk. I am MENTALLY Allergic to the cold. That's why my car is taken to Pep Boys if it needs anything done to it.
Wish I had a Beater that I could use in the winter so I could put my Monte away!
