Has anyone turned their P.C. into a TV ? (4-`free) ?
If so, how did you do it ? What is the best download to use ?

Space I haver not done this to my PC, but PC mag is a respectiable source 4-sure.

My desktop computer (i always use my laptop) is a tv. It runs windows XP media center edition and has a tv tuner pci card in it. Its a very handy feature since we have basic cable without the dvr boxes and such. You can use it to pause tv, rewind it and record it.

 

YUP... I got that E mail yesterday. I read a little of it. Not going to do it. Since were gone all winter. and have free TV where we stay . But it sounds cool as hell. Like Tadd said man I'd check it out 1st see if anyone else has it. And if theres any short comings

 

the TV tuner cards are nice, would be cool if you hooked it up to a big screen too

 

When I want to download TV I'll only use a Torrent with uTorrent. And I either plug my MacBook into my TV with an RCA>HDMI(mini) plug, or I can use my desktop connected to my XBox 360 to show anything on my larger living room TV.

 

My tv has a pc hookup so we just hook the laptop right up to it. It's fun having a 47 inch monitor.

for tv on the computer i either use hulu or netflix and then every movie i get, i get HD from thepiratebay or KAT

 

I dont know why space made this post cause he doesnt have any time to watch TV the bums & I just got cable at our apartment but space never gets down to see us with his hours.Hope he gets down to watch nascar before the end of the season.Peace Out Mike

 

..Thanks everyone for your posts & input, but I will have to do some research, because everything everyone posted is like a foreign language to me....I'm self taught on computers & there functions, so I think I need more research to understand the workings & what will work best....
