Default Hit'n 200,000KM!

So I'm 50km short of 200,000... I'm sure that i will get there by tomorrow morning...

The car is still running pretty good consdering the milage... body needs a bit of love (few scratchs and dents from previous owner and a cracked front bumper from and ***hole in a parking lot)

I have to say that i am impressed with how well she is still running

I was kinda wary about buying my silver 05 with 59k on it. It just turned 60k and I am going to do an oil change, service the supercharger, and flush the radiator out and put the regular coolant in. But, if I keep up the maintenance I am confident my Monte will last a real long time!

Put in a complaint with the City and if they dont do anything about it the next call will be a lawyer!

Arrow 3.8L GM Engine is BulletProof : )

GM's 3.8L is one of the best
If you treat them with love, they will love you back 4-Sure.
Abuse any engine, and they will abuse U back
Below is a link about the 3.8L and they claim is it rated
as one of the Top 5 engines.

GM sure used the 3.8L in many models, and for many years.
I loved mine, but I was impressed also with my 3900cc 3.9L
in my 06 LT3...Lots of power in both.
I've read of 3.8L with over 1/2 million miles with no major teardowns. Thanks G.M.

JJsRYD:

Yeah about 3 hours ago... not impressed... i also blew through one of my strut mounts about a month or so ago because of a huge pothole but didnt really go after the city as it only cost me about $50 to fix it (not worth my time)

Space Kid:

I have an LS (one of the few on this site it seems lol) so i just have the lil 3.4L

I know this is kinda off topic, but what do you guys think would be the best way to go about bringing my lil 180hp engine to about 220-230hp? ive been told that 270 possibly 280 is possible (no blower) but i dont need that as i get enough speeding tickets as it is

1. By dropping about 5 grand into NA parts and spending about 30 hours doing it.

2. Buying a top swap for 1 grand and dropping about 15 hours into it.

3. Buying a turbo which will easily clear that mark for about 3 grand and put about 6-8 hours into it.
