The Hideous Return Of Studebaker?
Hi `Mike,
My grandfather has a book on Studebakers, and the BeachBum's & I would look @ it often...They made some wild & I think some great auto's for their time
One of the senior citizens had one like the below..He got it new & he would clean it everyday & sometimes take us for rides to the store...When he died he left it to his church where it was sold..He kept it like new, but he did that with everything...He was very demanding to work for, but he always paid when we helped him.
My grandfather had a Studebaker Avanti, b-4 I was dropped off at his place by my mother (who never has returned)
I don't think she liked alien space kids ~> 
He had it way b-4 I arrived & I never got to see it in person, but just in pic's...
I think my grandfather had a supercharge on his avanti ?
^^It was made of fiberglass 2 ^^^
I wish them the best with their new company...I did not like their present designs, but maybe someone will ? Thanks for posting/sharing...It brought back memories of days past.
The good ole days when I lived @ the beach & had fun everyday...WoW, I'm gett'in old ~> 4-Sure..

Yeah, I'm not liking the new designs much either. I like a few of the older Studebaker models like the Hawk and Low Boy. A friend of mine had a Low Boy that he dropped a BB Chevy engine into and that thing was crazy fast in street trim.

If they want to build the ugliest car on the market they nailed it. I think they should have incorporated some of Studebaker's classic design's. They could have come up with a newer more modern design of the Avanti that looked pretty sweet.
