You guys should keep that rain to yourselves. Sure we are in the middle of a drought, but that doesn't mean I want your acid rain to come rain on my car over here in Wyoming.

I will bet you $100, if I take my 20x scope to your car, I will show you where rain drops have etched into your finish. Be it the sealant, glaze, or clearcoat or all three. I see it on my car, and I have a stupid amount of glaze & wax on it.
Woah, buddy I didnt mean to offend you or anything. Im sure if you took your scope, you could see where acid rain has etched into ME. Im not talking about with your fancy scope though, Im saying that you cannot see acid rain marks on our cars, even the dark ones. Whether or not there is actually some damage on the finish is another story. Im sure any non-distilled water will hurt your finish in one way or another.

Thats good. I thought I had pushed the wrong button by questioning your knowledge on the subject. Lol. I said that ina previous post once, you never know exactly how someone means a comment when all you have to go by is what they typed.

Damn, Craig, you are one serious detailer, LOL. I can honestly say I've never looked at my car's paint with a scope before. I reckon I would see some marks with that.

That is why you pay me $250 to detail your car! I also have aMIL-Thickness Gaugeto determine your clearcoat thickness accurate to .1mil. I will not only know your clearcoat, but how thick the protective coating I put on your car.

I think there is a spot or two that actually may have clearcoat, but I would be able to make that rust shine! LOL....
