Later cars (1980-1982) used a larger 2174 cc Lotus 912 engine, however, because of emission regulations modifications it still only produced 160 hp. Thanks for sharing/posting new pictures of your Lotus.
I would love to drive `it. I'm sure that it's value will increase
every year.
You are fortunate to have a Awesome 07 Monte SS, plus
a super fun sports car.
I'd be happy with the Southern RedNeck camper in the
background ~ LOL ~ 4-Sure : )
Keep us updated on your `Monte & your Lotus.
Thanks, `Space

RE: Hey Space! Some pics of the Lotus and Monte
I've seen a couple of those Lotus's years ago. They look cool as hell driving down the street.
Not overly crazy about the bug-eyed look of the headlights, but I'd get over it real quick.
Question for ya:
Are those the original rims on that Lotus? Because in the pics they look amazingly similar to the rims made famous by the Dukes of Hazard General Lee. (American Racing rims maybe??? I can't remember.) If those are the A.R. rims, they are long since out of production, and are highly sought after. If you're willing to separate with the rims, that may help fund the restoration of the Lotus maybe?
Love how you had to put a picture of your Monte in there. A true Monte fan!
