Hi Member's,
The Monte Carlo Forum will only be as good or bad as the
Staff & Member's Make it.

Help us keep the MCF Active, fun & Informative!

What are you doing to make it better ?
Yes, You ?
The MCF would not exist without $ponsor's, and we can't
keep or get new sponsor's without member's support &
activity on our Monte Carlo Forum.

I know it's difficult to visit a forum that only has posts
about Problems (?) Please be creative and post
subjects/topic's that member's may enjoy.
Keep them family friendly, please!
A funny video ? Picture's ?
Topic's of interest ?
etc

What can you do ?
1. Stay active on the MCF
2. Greet new member's and welcome them to the MCF!
3. Visit our MCF Blog & Say hello and get to know our
active member's.
4. Create Topics that will be of interest to member's.
5. Fill in your MCF Profile
6. Post your Pictures in your MCF Albums
7. Help member's when you can
8. Vote in our MCF Contests
9. Post a name, nick-name that you
would like to be called in posts ?

The MCF has some great member's Be one of them `OK

I realize that many member's just join the MCF to get help
with problems they are having with their Monte Carlo.
Please help them `if you can ? That's one of the main reasons
for a auto forum, even if they fade away after they get help, but there's more to it.

The forum needs to have member's that help present &
future member's.

* There's nothing worse then to have a new member need help
and no one replies to their thread, or log's in and
says hello and no one replies.

The MCF Staff is not paid and they all donate their time
to keep our forum active, fun & informative.
It can be a thankless position, but we have a dedicated `Staff.

If you have any suggestions to make our forum better and active ?
Please post them.

One way is for you reading this is to help others and stay
active on the MCF when time permit's.

Thanks to all our active member's. Please encourage other's
to get involved. Make them part of our Monte Carlo Family.

How to ask for Help on the MCF ?

Post what your problem with as much detail as you can.
Post what year/model & engine in your post,
and also your miles on your Monte.
State your problem as clearly as you can.
The words please & thank you can help a member
reply + the acknowledgement that you appreciate
the help and time that a member spent to help you

Also, before you post your question, please use the
MCF Search Engine at the top center of each page.
There are many answers to Monte Problems answered
using the MCF Search Engine.

OK so I see the thread named Help help help and did not pay attention to who started it and figured that something horrible had happened to a Monte!!! Wow..BBMike..to the corner for time out!!! LOL
I was going to try to help, help help...hahaha I try to help when I can.

I will look something up in the Chiltons or Haynes manuals I have or just go look something up online to see if I can find something to help someone else. Sometimes the answer is right here on the forum and you have to use the search function to find it.
Thanks BBMike for starting this thread!!

(But you are still in time out for 5 more minutes for posting help help help...lol

You are a great example on helping others. I know the MCF Staff have many duties keeping our forum running strong. I'm thankful that you and our Staff do it for no pay & for the love of the Chevy Monte Carlo & it's member's...>Thank You<

Since Chevrolet isn't making the Monte Carlo any longer

, it's imperative that our forum stays active. Without a active forum the MCF will lose it's sponsor's. No $'s = No MCF.

We have a great forum and member's should just not take, but give back when they can to add to the activity...

I'm hoping this tread is a reminder to all & also to solicit input from the member's on any suggestion to improve our forum.
