National Weather Service keeps messing with warnings and their snowfall predictions. Winter storm warnings keep creeping further and further North; Lenawee, Monroe, and Wayne Counties in SE Michigan have been upgraded to winter storm warnings. Snowfall totals are rising slightly as well.

Hi 'Matt,

evening everyone, my band is supposed to play at a bar this evening, about 20 minutes down the road so not too far, but we are getting hit pretty hard at the moment with a winter storm so not sure if they are gonna cancel, and to be honest I wouldn't be too upset if they did, I don't like driving home at 3:30am in a winter storm.

Hope everyone is having a good day

Good evening everyone!

So for years I was tired of seeing my Monte look like this every winter.

No garage to park the Monte in. So it got covered in snow all winter long. I would clean it off to go to work. After work, I would go back to my car and find it looking like this:

So I had to clean the snow off my car yet again. I can't do anything about the parking situation at work. But I can change the parking situation at home.

So I buy a new-to-me home with a garage. Because I'm tired of cleaning snow and ice off my Monte every time I go to use it.

GREAT!!! No more having my Monte out in the elements all winter long. Right?

No. I had to use the garage to store stuff from the old house, until I can find a permanent location for all the stuff. No problem... I moved the remaining stuff from the old house in September. I should be able to clear all the stuff out of the garage by winter. Right???

Guess how that turned out. Here's a picture from today's snow storm. The silver car on the left is my dad's Buick Century. The car on the right is my very cold Monte.

It's been snowing here since about midnight last night. So far I have about 6-8 inches of drifting snow out front.

I feel ya Lou, I've cleaned my car twice today, once going to work and then again to come home. Going to have to clean it yet again to get back to work, and probably again to come home. A garage would be lovely

Resisting the urge to say something sarcastic. I'll let Keane say it instead.
