Default Headed to Lubbock in the morning

for the state taxidermy convention/competition but the Monte is staying home this trip, riding with another taxidermist. Maybe I should hide my keys so hubby can't go cruisin' in it
If I don't have a time to stop in while I'm there, I'll catch y'all Sunday when I get back.

Have a safe trip Becky. Wish it could have been during the weekend. We could have driven there to say HI. Your going to be only a few hours from Lawton.

The competition room will be open to the public Saturday from 10:30-2, Lubbock Convention Center. $2 admission fee.

They are having a big arts and crafts show there too but I don't anything about it except we have to share the convention center. Some kind of Indian thing going on too, not sure if it's at the convention cener or just in Lubbock. Hope I get a chance to go check them out but probably won't since I'll be working the show.

WOW becky! i'll admit i've never really seen much taxidermy and never knew how they were presented, how they look like they are in their own environment. that is absolutely AMAZING and beautiful. it truly is an art form. congratulations on your wins!!!

this is one of my favorites of the ones you posted:
