I will be lucky to see the furnace turned on in November. Space heaters and sweatshirts and electric blankets for me

no heat here yet, although it's been in the low 40's/ high 30's when i leave for work in the morning. gets warm during the day though, perfect weather to work outside!

i should have my firewood stockpile ready to go by early november, if it gets really cold before that i've got enough from last year to last about a month, so i'm all set

In Chicago its been in the mid 40s at nights, low 60s in the days. But im still using my AC, i cant sleep in a hot room i need it frozen to fall a sleep

I'm the same way. Even in the winter months. We have a piece fo foam pushed down inside the heat vent. So no heat comes into our bedroom. Just a sheet and a blanket on top of us. We sleep so good like that. Plus the heat comes on at 6:30 am But not in our room

LoL i do the same with the vent by sticking in a piece of foam in it
