Default Have to say good bye to a Monte

I'm planning on trading in my 02 Ls for an mid-size SUV for under 10K. I'll ask 5K for it. If no one gives me that then I'll wait till the end of the year when a co-worker will give me 6500 for it. We have a 2 month old now and gettin he stroller in and out of the trunk has tired my wife for the last time. Shes hedding back to work now so money wont be as tight now.

I was thinking of a Trailblazer but after seeing those customer reviews forget about it. Theres really not that many options for mid-size. I dont want Ford. I'm going Saturday to look at 4Runners. My brother has one and and hasn't had a single problem with it. The customer review is pretty good on this truck too. What I do need is leather and sunroof though. I need to love getting in it. My brothers is a base 4cyl model and its boring as heck inside his.

Any opinions on an SUV would be appreciated. I dont want 8cy though or a minivan.

in my opinion, Ford makes an excellent vehicle. They are rated best in ConsumerReports. I was die hard Ford for a long time, but here I am.. I like pretty much all Americna cars...

Kingreyna... have you driven a Ford... lately?

(Or beaten a Ford, like my siggy says?)

Saturn Vue or Chevy Equinox are two of my favorites. Both have lots of versitility and drive nicely. Plus they have many engine and drivetrain options available.

I'm also going to check out the Pontiac Vibe. My wife loved the way it looks. Its a little smaller but its has a high customer rating. Also theres not a lot of choices for 10K and under. I'm still paying for my 06 LT3. Thats whats limiting me to certain brands only.

A friend of mine had the saturn Vue and loved it. I could get in and out of the back with no problems (I am 6'3" 280) also there was alot of trunk space because when ever we went paintaballing we could fit all of our equipment in the back with no problem and have five people in the car.

We had an equinox (mom's car) for about 2 months, its a decent suv, but the interior is pretty sub-par... we traded it (for a profit) for a Honda CR-V... I'm a domestic guy, but that is a nice SUV... great interior, good gas mileage, and still decent HP for a 4 cyl.
