jj, it takes me longer to reach the end of my development & bus stop than your entire commute??

from highschool to tech its about a 45 minute busride
but at least its not my fuel, lol, plus i get a nice midday nap

Thats what i could use right about now. A nap.

Everything is close to where i live. I don't have to drive more then 10 mins to get whatever i need.

I'm about 2 minutes from the med school, which is very nice...
And I'm about 10 minutes from the elementary school I teach at... about 10 minutes from Wally World (walmart) as well.

I'd say I'm pretty conveniently located

Im a good 45 miles from civilization LOL. As in civilization i mean auto parts stores.

Right across the street from Wally World for me. So also about 10 minutes away. lol.

i have an O'rielys around the corner from where i work. Right between a McD's and a BK. Everything is just mins away.

I have about a 5 minute commute to work. Even less depending on traffic. Since I work nights, I'm going in the opposite direction of most of the traffic. Especially coming home in the morning.

that sounds a little like what im used to, lol, but there are TONS of people where i live, just nothing to do, haha, the nearist gas station is a 12 + mile one way trip, wally world is about 45 miles away, through congested marshalls creek.
im shure blacksheep knows what im talkin about.
