WEll Saturday is the day I got the Monte Carlo.... which means today (Fridya) is the day I called hte man I bought my car from and he told me all about the car. Went down to his home in Raleigh, Nc the next day and bought the car... brought it home.

My little niece was in my arm, this was what the car looked like that day.



I used to have this picture of myself wearing a leather jacket standing beside it the day I bought it and the car is in the guys driveway... trying to find that picture.....

Congrats! And good photo documentation! I wish I had photos of when I first met my car or went back to buy it. I would cherish those too.

 

47,000 miles later too. Still looking for that picture, went through a few CD's but can't find it.... I've posted it before, I knwo I have it!!

Congratulations, Duane! You look so proud in that one picture, leaning on your brand new car. Aren't you glad you took pictures to document the occasion? I wish I had pics of my 2007 Monte on the day I brought her home. Pretty soon now I'll be celebrating her fifth birthday (June 19th) - it's hard to believe it'll be the second birthday she's had with me. We celebrate it on June 19th cuz that's the day the last Monte Carlo rolled off the assembly line in 2007.
