We got it bad here in Cleveland. I left work at about 6:30. It was pitch black, then the rain came. The freeway had 2-3 inches of water in about 15 minutes. Couldn't see 10 inches in front of me. Then the hail came. Marble to half dollar size. I thought some were going to break my windshield. I've got a couple dents in the roof. And of course, after I got back into town the traffic lights were out... Apparently no one learned that it's a 4 way stop then.

We haven't had a bad hail storm in a couple of years. The car cover saved my car last time.

Mann that's crazy. we got lucky hail wise but we have had some serious storms here as well. We were in the basement for like 45min today bcuz the really bad straight line winds scared us. some of our siding off the house is gone up by the chimney I hear. Nature is seriously pissed off at us Missourians between Joplins record breaking double vortex tornado, what happened to Maryland Heights and the airport a few weeks ago, and now Sedalia today =( there were tornadoes up by my dad at the shop & then down south by Mike but thank goodness neither one of them got hit.

Everytime I hear about hail, I cringe. Because I've seen the kind of damage hail can do. Glad your cars were safe in the garage.

We had a lot of heavy rain here today also, but thankfully no hail.
