congrats!, dude i would love to see clapton, its coming to that time where he's not gonna be performing alot. i got to see the wailers this year, but missed the bb king concert in providence..

That's a great feeling. I've had people come up to me and ask what kind of car is it, and when I tell them a MC, they can't believe an American car can look so good!
Now for my bragging point: I bought tickets today for the Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood concert in Houston for $40 each! They were $123.50 each on TicketMaster, and have been going for $350 each on e-bay. My ex-wife's stepdaughter is 18 and won them on the radio. She said, "All I know is he's some old man who plays the guitar." I told her yeah, but I don't have anything else to do that night, so I guess I'll take them!

very cool! would also love to see clapton someday. i've admired him since i was a kid.

Hubby looked at me like I was goofy when I told him. He's probably just jealous because he wasn't driving there. There are times I'll be driving but someone in the parking lot gives HIM the compliment. Sometimes he just says thanks but every now and then he tells them it's mine instead, LOL.

People used to think my '86 LS Monte belonged to my girlfriend. They just thought I was driving it for her. Even the members of NMCOA thought the car was her's. Where they got this idea is beyond me?
Last august when we were in MI attending Church camp with Debbie's parents and those two teenage girls came up to the '03 Pace car to tell me they liked my car was a great ego booster for a guy my age.
Me setting in the Pace car.
Girl #1 - "I like your car."
Girl #2 - "It's cool."
Me. - "Thanks."
Girl #1 - "We like it."
Me - "Say you girls want to go for a cruise. We could listen to some Clapton."
Both girls in unison - "WHO?"
Me - "Def Leppard? Aerosmith? Winger? Warrant? Bon Jovi? The Clash?"
Laughing loudly as they walk away - "Those guys are like........ OLD!"
Me - "Okay see ya." (while I set here drinking my Geritol shake)
