Gotta brag
Took my baby to get an inspection today. Just stopped in the Quick Lube, there wasn't anyone there so no line to wait in. All the guys working there had to go check out my baby. As two of them were headed out the door to go "help" the guy doing the inspection, I heard one telling the other "Man, that's a clean car", LOL.
One asked if it ran as good as it looked. Told him it ran good enough to get ya ticket.
I know it's a little ego trip but sometimes it's nice having something that others take notice of and can appreciate

Hi Becky, I miss that feeling : ), but your Monte sure is deserving of praise. It's what giving `up to have is all about. Thanks for sharing the experience with us.

Yep Space, when it finally quit raining, LOL. He got it put back together yesterday. Ordering some other parts for it to turbo it now and supposed to go to some tuner up in Dallas in a few weeks. We'll see.
Now he wants a motorcycle too. I've already got enough grey hairs to try to keep colored now he wants to add more.

I shouldn't tell you this, but many of the Hair Coloring
Company corvertly send us young'in $ money
to drive our elders crazy & give them gray hair

That's a great feeling. I've had people come up to me and ask what kind of car is it, and when I tell them a MC, they can't believe an American car can look so good!
Now for my bragging point: I bought tickets today for the Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood concert in Houston for $40 each! They were $123.50 each on TicketMaster, and have been going for $350 each on e-bay. My ex-wife's stepdaughter is 18 and won them on the radio. She said, "All I know is he's some old man who plays the guitar." I told her yeah, but I don't have anything else to do that night, so I guess I'll take them!
