Except for the color, it looks like the old Kawasaki dirt bike my In-Laws have at their place in N. MI. It was a mid-70's as well. My son learned to ride it last July. It was a blast tearing around their property (they have about 160 acres out in the boonies). Still runs great. The only problem was a slipping clutch. I kept having to adjust it otherwise the clutch wouldn't engage.

Have fun!

Nice bike.

When I was 19 I worked at a local Honda dealer. Every morning I pushed 40 used bikes out. Every evening I pushed 40 used bikes back in.

sure wish i had 160 acres to play with! a buddie's got about 100 where, if i get the bike running, i might go to test it out a bit

i know how you feel man! right now my dad's got 5 bikes under our porch for sale (3 are honda's, a '74, '73 and an '85, hahaha) and every time someone come's to look at one it's always the one in the back, so they all gotta come out!

cool pic you found space! the bike turns over and has good compression, but right now the rear brake is seized from sitting, so my first project is getting that unstuck. today i sprayed some simple green on it and cleaned some of the tree scum off of the tank, seat & fenders.
