congrats on getting a job in your field. It seems to be a rare occasion anymore. I know a bunch of people who get a degree in something and end up going into a totally different field. I think from reading your nascar stuff you will be a good teacher

Congrats! I feel way older than I should for my age, but I think the Army has something to do with that. It's great that you're getting to do what you enjoy doing!

It is starting to sink in a little bit.... got a month not to worry about whether I will have a job or not. Got an orientation scheduled for next Monday at 10:00 a.m. and then a standard orientation on August 10th, 13th, and 14th.

Lots of my friends I graduated with are still hard at work searching. I'm glad I have this settled down at this point in the summer so I can focus on not working for a few weeks before I start teaching!



Now I just need to win a few of my own NASCAR Fantasy races at the bottom of the forum ....

Good that you landed a job so quick, i worry about when i graduate. Everything i read says how the job market is crap for coming grads. I have a job now, but by no means do i want it to be my career
