unlimited text & calling and 2gb data paln. For right now. I will boost it up if & when I need it. My wife has a i phone for only $30.00 a month. So why should I pay for something that we already have.

Congrats on the new phone Rick.

I'm still holding on to my old iphone 3GS until the iphone 5 comes out. Which I hope is soon. Because the battery in my phone isn't going to last much longer. A full charge doesn't last very long anymore. Last I heard, the iphone is supposed to be released in November/December this year. And is supposed to have a larger screen.

Media garbage. They are unveiling brand new OS and brand new hardware in January and it's going to be awesome.

They are in a rough spot because they are transitioning. I have no worries about them going away anytime soon. They have all the cash-flow they need to stay afloat.

Yes, but it's a Canadian company. Strike one.

Joking aside. Some industry experts are criticizing RIM for delaying their new OS and phone until next year. Many customers are tired of waiting, lost confidence, and are moving on to other brands. I think RIM made a mistake when they strayed somewhat from their business customers, in an effort to take on iphone. Hopefully they get back on track and stick to their bread and butter. The business market.

Truthfully they only delayed it 2 months. Saying next year makes it sound like FOREVER.

They were shooting for November, they realized they want to code a few more things and make sure it is perfect. Release it in January instead.

I'm fine waiting 2 months for a finished phone and not stuck in a 2-year contract with a buggy thing.

Let people move on. If they can't wait 2 months for the new thing from RIM... they probably were just waiting for an "excuse" to follow everyone else.

What RIM is going to do with Blackberry 10 is phenomenal. I can't wait and I'm sure many will come back to them.

Also, RIM is really only hurting in North America... They are still kicking *** around the world.
