Default Gone with the wind

A coworker and I got talking the other night while on break discussing american cars. What i find sad is how the RWD V8 American sedan has just about vanished After thinking through all the current american companies i only came up with a few. The dodge charger/chrysler 300. The cadillac CTS and the new ATS. 3(4 depending how you look at it) cars left. I cant think of any other 4 door RWD american currently made thats availible to us. I exclude the caprice since its currently for government use only, but a quick ebay search will get you one

So my point is, the majority of the members here are older than me. What is your favorite RWD american sedan, and why?

I have plenty of favorites, topping my list probably are the 94-96 Impala SS and the crown vic, but i could go on and on as i really love the land yachts of the 70's and 80's

I think there are still lots of American RWD drive cars. Just some I can think of offhand -
Mustang, Challenger, Camaro, CTS, Charger, Chrysler 300...I'm sure I am missing many more.

My all time favorite is 67-69 Camaro.

RWD cars, yes there are still some left like you said, but as far as sedans there is nothing. STS i believe ended in 2011 model year.

My favorite RWD V8 sedan is the Pontiac G8 GXP. By no means a classic yet but still one of my favorites

^^^I'd love to have a GXP in black or white, but it will be some time before I can start my search.

whats more rare is an American RWD Coupe thats got room. Besides the Challenger and CTS there is none. Mustangs and camaros have little room for a big guy.
