I have to humbly say that small market teams aren't good for my business.
I don't think that Green Bay is a small market... or at least the Packers aren't.

I'm sure money would be made quite easily with a SuperBowl here and I see more Green Bay gear when I travel the US than any other team.

I work at the SuperBowl. I am a contractor for the NFL. Our company was 200% disappointed with the low returns from New Orleans and San Diego.

Even a small market team like Denver playing a small market team like Greenbay blew that year.

All the NFL contractors lost money. The NFL was lucky to prolly break even that year.

ANY NEW YORK TEAM

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

DALLAS COWBOYS

OAKLAND RAIDERS

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

WASHINGTON REDSKINS

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

MIAMI DOLPHINS

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES.

And this has nothing to do with their win loss records....just the amount of money they drop at SuperBowl events.

Large market is not considered the size of the city, it is the size of the expendible cash that the fans have to spend.

More:

Minnesota Vikings

Buffalo Bills

Well I went 3 for 4 in my predictions this week leave it to the f packers to mess up my playoffs perfect record.(stupid snow)As a regular attendee ofSuperBowls I do agree with SolaraSlayer on the lack of revenue from smaller markets but at least at those games the fans are friendlier then those coming out of Philli or NY. Sad to see these packers get another home game though :-(
