I think I said this last time, but I feel like you could buy one like the cruze one, and just swap guts around and possible make it work.

I'm glad they don't. That's just pointless technology in my eyes.

I'm with Chibi Mike and Jen. The Chevy one in the first post looks cool when you hold it in your hand. But annoying and ugly to have it sticking out of your ignition.

I dont like push button ignition either, i dont wanna push a button to start my car, i want to actually turn a key to start it. The keyless entry and push button ignition is neat and cool technology, i just dont really like it. But more and more cars have the technology so i'm sure eventually every car will have it.

Which is exactly why I'm not happy about Microsoft getting their software built into new Fords. Even if the Sync system only controls certain features in the car right now. It's a gateway to eventually having a microsoft operating system (with mobile internet access) controlling the entire functionality of the car. A hacker and car thief's dream.

And we all know how unreliable microsoft products are. Do you really want your car going into "the blue screen of death", get a virus, or hacked into while you're travelling 65+ MPH down the highway?

Personally, I don't want microsoft anywhere near my car.

And yes, I do realize that OnStar has the ability to shut your car down if directed to by police. Incase of a high speed chase and such.

I like my cars to be pretty bare-boned, which is why I'm glad the technology isn't there. If there is one less thing to go wrong, then I'm happy!

Also, this damn switchblade key keeps opening up IN my pocket.
