Not 2 distract from the AweSome GM Cadillac CTS-V,
but I was curious on what member's thought
of the below R5 with 580+HP ?
The Bums & I have cleaned several Audi's, and they
make a great ride....& super quality materials.
I've driven the TT, but not a RS, but
would luv 2 test drive one....4-Sure
What do you `think ?

We first reported that a hotter variant of the Audi A5/S5 coupe was under development in our November 2007 issue. Back then, we only had a photo-illo to show what we thought an RS 5 coupe would look like. Since that time, RS 5 prototypes have been spotted in Death Valley, California, and more recently undergoing high-speed testing at the Nürburgring. Unfortunately, although rumors suggested the new RS 5 coupe would be seen for the first time in production trim at the Frankfurt auto show this September, an Audi insider told us the RS 5 "won't be seen at any auto show in 2009."
Despite the test mule's "S5" badging, the car seen here is clearly the new RS 5 — and looking quite production ready, we might add. The prototype's reworked front end — with significantly larger air intakes beneath the headlights — and a new, larger rear bumper sporting the signature "RS" series twin oval exhaust tips, hint that this car is built for speed. Other RS cues include the massive, cross-drilled front brake rotors and 20-in. triple-spoke wheels. No doubt the RS 5 will also sport significantly stiffer suspension than the S5.
Still up for discussion is the engine for this all-wheel-drive machine. Originally we thought the RS 5 might use Audi's 5.2-liter V-10 from the S6 and S8 sedans, but a more likely (and much more exciting) possibility is that it will use the twin-turbo version that powers the RS 6 Avant, to the tune of 580 bhp. But the latest rumor suggests that, in an effort to keep the coupe's cost down, the RS 5 will use Audi's normally aspirated 4.2-liter V-8, tweaked to between 450-470 bhp. For comparison purposes, the last Audi RS 4 sedan had a V-8 with 420 bhp.
We expect to see the new Audi RS 5 Coupe in early 2010, going on sale later that year

I'd take the cadillac over that audi anyday :P
Maybe I'm just GM biased... but I do love me a caddy.
As far as sleek and sexy > boxy and sharp...
I prefer me, boxy :P

Oh come on now... That Camaro is out of the Audi and Caddy's league. The only thing I would change on that beautiful gray one is the hood. Put the stock one back on and then we're talkin'
I really don't like cowl hoods.
