Gas price check
I'm seeing quite a difference in gas prices today. Usually they are within a dime town to town. Wondering what other people are seeing for prices and where.
We went to watch the sunset at South Haven, MI tonight (BARELY got there in time to see it!), and we saw the highest price variation on the way back that I saw all day. Cheapest was in South Haven at $2.919, and the highest was at Bangor, 7 miles away, at $3.199. I paid $3.149 for Amoco Ultimate tonight in Sturgis.
What are you paying and where?

RE: Gas price check
we're being told here in NC that we have the highest gas in teh nation next ot Hawaii and Alaska. they tell us its because the hurricane Ike knocked out power in Texas and they're struggling to get it to us. that was like nearly a month ago. these prices are for regular:
i've seen about $3.60 around here, however today i rode with my dad to norfolk today and i saw mostly $3.18 area, and one gas station was $3.06 near the port.

RE: Gas price check
the other day at the sunoco right by my house i go to (which also usually is the standard cheap rate is the sunoco's)..i noticed like 3.33ish for reg, 3.43 for plus, and 3.53 for ultra .02 higher than the premiuim they offer in which is what i need for my 07 ss so i always just get 93 its only .02 more plus sunoco offers 87,89,91,93 but most others only offer 87,89,93 thats basically why i stick to 93..and this is in liverpool (ny)are about ive seen anywhere up to like 3.40's for reg up to like 3.80's for ultra.. and go figure all sunoco's except one in village of liverpool new york they stick to the .10 increase per lvl grade unlike other gas station brands.. some would even charge like .30 to .50 higher for ultra than the reg gas grr..

RE: Gas price check
Todd, we get hosed up here in Canada too.
The price per litre yesterday was $1.049
Converted to price per gallon, it's roughly $3.97
As for differences in price from one station to another. Around here, every gas station changes their price at the exact same time. Suspicious???
Edit: I usually go to Sunoco as well. Since the supercharged 3.8 calls for premium, I usually go with the Ultra. In Canada, they claim it's 94 octane, but I think it's probably the same 93 octane you're getting in NY. The Sunoco Ultra is always 12 cents per litre more expensive. Converted to gallons, that's..........enough to make a car nut cry.

RE: Gas price check
When I was in europe this in august it made me feel better about our gas prices since they were paying the equovalent of 8.50 a gallon. Under 3.00 would make me happy. I in 1999 filling the boat up with premium at the lake and I was pissed becasue it was a 1.50 and in town itwas a 1.15. Now I know what my parents were saying when they talked about getting a gas for .05 a gallon.
