I really wish all the car manufacturers would get together and decide on one type of new fuel/engine and start perfecting it. So we can just tell all the oil companies to go pump themselves. lol.
I already see a problem with ethanol popping up. The price of corn is going up dramatically and causing corn products to increase in price.
I think cars like the Tesla electric car would be one way to go. If you haven't seen it, you really should do an internet search on it. That thing rocks.

07... In time we will see, the government prolly won't do anything about it until we're completly outta oil, and we have to go to all the other fuels cars they already have which leads me to Taz's post... They have cars that run on water and hyrogen, but the government won't use them... GM actually has one.. Heh, greedy maufactures.... Due time, my fellow members due time

I heard them say on the radio yesterday the price of oil/barrel had gone down several dollars.
A woman I work with said to me, "They've known about this problem for 30 years now. So why haven't they done anything about it?" Which is a real good point if you stop and think about it.

They have a car out? [sm=icon_rock.gif]

RE: Gas
i wish america would allow the compressed air car from germany over into america. upwards of 2000 miles per fill and when ur out of air u just plug it into the wall and allow the compressor to refill the tanks. but america would never allow something here that will hurt the wallet that the oil companys fill
