Default Future of ZETA.. Bad for Monte??

~ L I N K ~

Check out this motor trend article... Could it be that the Monte and Impala are destine to FWD for the foreseeable future?

Also, check out the fugly pic of the concept El Camino on page three... [:'(] I think the HP cool factor will be there but damn, talk about your red headed step child...

You know I sure wounder what some of those designers are smoking in GM Design.
Or maybe it has more to do with the bean counters, who knows. At any rate it looks like GM is not getting out of its slump for some time.

Well maybe maybe restoration of the classics will be the word of the future for me.
Could be kinda fun to buy an old Monte and fix'er up.

I've been thinking project car as well. I've been looking for a half way descent fox body mustang to play around with. Don't worry; I am sure I will go down the LS1 route or something for the power plant....

On the other hand, I am starting to see some of the older Monte's hitting the market here lately.

My boyfriend bought a nice 1972 Monte Carlo down south last summer. Its got a 350. All its needs is a radio. And I'm getting him a new grill emblem for his b-day.

Boy, you don't see many 72's around anymore. At least down in the South anyway. Are parts difficult to find for it?

Some of the parts are interchangable with Chevelle parts. He found some stuff on e-bay and there are sites like Year One, Harmons, and dixiemontecarlodepot.com
