The last time i filled up the store clerk told me they had just recieved a load of gas and told the driver they were not going to raise thier prices. Within minutes teh distributor called and told the store that if they didn't raise thier prices they would not recieve any more gas. Whats up with that?

Is that not crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our oil industry is crooked as the day is long and this is a prime example of it.

I can not wait for the day we move on to alternative fuels more aggressively..

The gas station I work at here in Portland, Oregon is $2.699/$2.799/$2.899 for 87/89/92 and diesel is $3.059. The 76 station across the street from us is $2.599/$2.699/$2.799 for 87/89/92. I seriously hope that prices drop 20 to 30 cents per gallon.

Prices are gonna go up before they go down...I read in the paper today that prices are expected to increase 40% in comparison to what they were before the Hurricane........THIS MONTH!!!

the worse part f alot of it is not the actual rice per gal. it is the damed 50% tax ontop of the actual fule price that hurts ya .
If they woudl give tax relife on it he prices would fall 30 cents a gal. Or more on other fules.

They keep going up on Desiel youll see a strike from the truckers to many have to much oney in to thier trucks with the payments etc... they cant live that way to long. or it will be come so high that it will nto be worth it.

This would be bad bad bad... I've been holding out till the last min in hopes that prices come down a bit before I fill up again. Looks like I better get while the getting is good...lol

BTW: Last weekend I washed the engine and engine bay area and for some odd reason my average MPG's have improved quite a bit. As of last night I am running around 29.5MPG's.

yeah man, better fill up now and just take it easy the rest of the month cause prices are going up.

The 1.5mpg increase in gas mileage is due to the fact that there is now no parasitic draw on your JDM headlight fluid, duh.

JDM fluid.... lol

Actually, before I washed down the engine bay area I was back down to around 24.4MPG's. Another item of interest I found is that now at start up the throttle body quickly drops the RPM's during warm up. Where I would normally run at a higher RPM for about 20-30 seconds it's an almost instant RMP drop. Like it's registering the outside temp much quicker. I plan to poke around this weekend to make sure I did not inadvertly un plug something.
