As long as you drive it halfway sensibly (don't do hard launches with sticky tires, etc.) you should be alright. I didn't follow the advice I just gave out and it cost me a transmission. Those trannys are only rated at 300 ft/lbs of torque. I know that's more than the 230 that the L36 puts out but the sudden shock of hard launches with sticky tires often puts more stress than the tranny can handle. May not go the first time, or the second, but eventually it WILL go if you drive it like that. If I ever get a V6 4th gen again I'm either swapping in a TKO 5 speed or using an adapter to swap in a T56. I do plan on eventually doing a RWD L67 build and it will definitely be a T56 behind it.

I am somewhat surprised you younger guys didn't know the Pacer. It had a starring role in the movie Wayne's World. In my opinion the Pacer seems to get less ugly as it ages. I don't want one but they are not that bad anymore.

I kinda thought Wayne's 1orld was one of those cult classics like Rocky Horror Picture Show that everybody watches but isn't really sure why.
