It is too dam early to be up already. It feels like I just went to bed. I've got to take Connor (Susans eight year old son) to school on the other side of town and then to meet Cowboy Duane for breakfast. Then hopefully home and back to bed.
Everybody that has to get up for school and work, have a good safe day. It is Friday for most. I still have two days of work so it is my Thursday. Mickey Mouse has a messed up week. Lol.

Morning All,

Been a while since I was online. Work for me is feast or famine - tons of work or not enough. It's been 'feast' lately. I've hardly had a moment to myself the past few weeks.

The family and I were supposed to head to the beach for a long weekend yesterday; it's Fall Break for schools here. But I couldn't get free from work. So we're staying home and getting stuff done around the house / yard this weekend.

Discovered a few days ago that the engine in one of our old cars had a catastrophic failure. A valve push-rod broke causing irreparable damage to the cylinder head. I've been searching for a decent price on a used / rebuilt cylinder head; not much luck. Awaiting word on total cost to repair. Not gonna be pretty. My mechanic told me that in all the years he's been working on these cars, he's only seen this failure twice before. Figures it would happen to ours...

TGIF. Have a great day everyone!

Didn't hear the alarm and overslept and missed the school bus today. I had to drive the girls to school. This day is starting off well...
