Our own lensman Drew Phillips caught sight of this at Cars & Coffee in Irvine, California: the 2013 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder. This is the first time it's been seen on our shores. The targa version of the Venom GT packs the same 1,200 horsepower as the coupe – which also debuted at C&C, one year ago – but adds $150,000 to the price.That means you'll need $1.1 million for that wind-in-your-very-rich-hair feeling.
We still don't have exact specs on the car beyond a very limited build and its "enhanced driving sensations," but the high-res gallery of photos above should fill in enough blanks for now.

Happy Friday, MCF'ers! Hope everybody has a great Memorial Day Weekend - Space, your pictures are always so beautiful, its getting harder to decide which ones to add to my Screen Saver photos. In my little suburb outside of St. Louis we're having our annual Jazz Fest - the main street will be closed off around 5 tonite, thousands of people (maybe 400) will gather by City Hall, and there will be live music and good food and dancing till the wee hour of ten p.m. This year we're having a St. Louis favorite who learned rock and blues from Chuck Berry and Ike Turner back in the '60's when music was exciting and fun. He also toured with Rod Stewart - if you google any song by the Faces on youtube you'll see our own Billy Peek playing lead guitar. This is a BIG DEAL for our little town of Glendale!
We'll also have a ceremony remembering those who gave their lives for our country.....Have a great weekend everybody!!! Here's a random picture taken at a place where I spend a lot of quiet time.
