i know one or two people who've invested in stocks a bit, from what they've told me as long as you keep things simple it's like getting free money. i've thought about stocks myself, but i want to make sure my job is secure before i start really playing with my money.

Find a broker or financial advisor, and invest through them. If your family and friends can't recommend one, ask at your bank. Take the broker's advice. Good luck!
