Good morning friends. Happy friday. A county just east of where I live lost 12 homes to a tornado last night. (thanks for checking on me last night Rick). We are ok here though VERY thankful for that.
Space good luck on your new assignment. Hope your not off-line for too long.
Working from home today so you'll all have to put up with me through out the day.
Have a great friday everyone!

NICE AMY ON THE WIN

Good morning all! I hope everyone in So MI is OK. Well my last day woohoo!!! I was sent home an hour early yesterday cause there was no work - probably will be today too. That extra hour came in handy cause I went over to my Dad's house to hook up his new 46 inch Samsung LED TV!!!! He also took the plunge and added HD to his Comcast service. Everything works except he can't get his premium movie channels so a tech is going to come out on Sat to get everything running right. At least he can watch March Madness on beautiful HD in the meantime!
Thats cool Amy I think your dad will love it. HD channels are nice and clear but the sports are where I notice it the most.
Space enjoy your time away.
Monte2000SS this is the best site on the web. I recently joined a new cell phone forum that has a lot of members and my welcome thread have over 200 views with only 2 welcomes. It's not like that around here.

Morning everyone. So yes, the SE Michigan tornadoes. I'm literally right in that area and work three miles south of where the Dexter tornado went through. I left at 5:30 last evening and saw the tornado as I was getting on the highway, then drove through up to dime-size hail on the leading edge of that cell. The storm cell that produced that tornado actually ended up traveling right over where I'm at, though no tornado was down at that the time it went through our area. I was outside watching the clouds do the weirdest things I've ever seen. At one point we saw a horizontal vortex forming in the clouds, but nothing organized very well around where I am. The whole cell had some pretty good rotation. Ended up producing another tornado touchdown to the southeast of us.
Everyone is ok, no deaths or injuries. Dexter has at least 100 homes with some kind of damage, and more than 10 completely destroyed or leveled. Either a strong F2 or weak F3. Crazy for Michigan, especially this time of year.
weather.com and wxyz.com have pretty good pictures and video of the actual tornado and damage afterward.
