my best friend will be showing up at some point in time today. cant wait to kick back tonight by a fire! hubby got the new cat on Nightmagic last night. idle was a bit high when he started it up, took it a bit to calm down. this worries me, but ill see how she runs when i take her shopping this morning. need to pick up a new gasket to seal the small leak in exhaust to quiet her down. apparently there wasnt one in there before?? idk. the old cat was sooooo heavy and clogged. i told the guy 2 years ago that repaired my exhaust that my cat needed replaced and he insisted it was fine....i wont be going back to him...especially since the flange he put on was already so rusted the bolts fell off. cheap parts. alls good now tho hubby got her fixed up and while it was out i put the Rust Doctor on it and did the underneath of the car where exhaust goes in while i had the chance. the insurance adjuster came out yesterday morning and informed me im getting $1042 for the damage done to the front from that kid hitting her. ** hold on a second while i show my excitement::::::: :happyanim : :::*******
since im getting more than i thought i was i have made the decision to head south for my quarter panels. cheaper with no rust. plus i get to go to north carolina for a cpl days!!

Morning all. in a bad mood after yesterday. Someone decided they wernt gonna leave a note after hitting red in the parking lot. The damage isn't too bad but still it sucks. $400 repair or new bumper cover +$300. Some days humanity Pisses me off.

Thank god! Highs port pieces are hard and expensive to come by. The biggest problem with replacing the bumper cover is the pinstripes I have on it. Expensive to have redone.

 

Happy Friday everyone. I am on my first break at work and it has been a busy day so far. I am done at 4 then will be doing some more work on the monte. Can't wait to get this bit of body work fixed.
