Life is a `Highway
Life is a journey not a sprint. You can’t win overnight but neither can you lose. Once you realize that although life is short in time, it is abounding with possiblities.
Begin each day with the attitude of gratitude and refuse to allow the negativity of circumstances to get you down. Whose driving your Life ? Be the driver of your `Life 4-Sure.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step and you win most battles in life by taking the next step.
Since life is a journey we can slow down and EnJoy life. If you try to race through life you will end being first to the top of the mountain but will not have anyone to share it with.

That is why the climb is the most important. It is here where you meet friends,(even online) build friendships, mod your Monte Carlo, etc. So when you reach the top you reach it with those you love, those whose company you enjoy and that are `true to their words/acts and to `Life !
The old saying that it is lonely at the top is true, but it doesn’t have to be if you slow down and help others reach their dreams too. May this Friday find you not speeding toward the weekend, but reflecting on just how many blessings you really have. Be Thankful 2 `be & EnJoy your day/weekEnd/`Life 4-Sure!

Good Morning members, I will be the first to say "We made to another friday"
I am going to the Brickyard practice and qualifications tomorrow. Kind of excited, been the last two years. Take the boy down with me. make your pics in the Naascar section if you want to join in the fun.

Mornin' all. Space - the cartoon pic of the '59 Impala brings back memories. I had one in High School, but it wasn't a rag top. I sold it for $600 and put the money towards a Z28 Camaro. To paraphrase an old Rod Stewart song - 'I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger'. Hope everyone makes a good one of it today and enjoys their weekend!

It sounds like a fun time for you and your son Jerry!
Working from home... Doing Laundry for the family. Will detail the Deuce this week-end. Son is going to a concert today (I Dono who, some screaming and yelling stuff I assume).
Zach got a job working at the post-office (Like mom does) !!!! Annouced that after his 90 day probation at the post office HE IS MOVING OUT!!!!!
He had been working at Toco Bell for over the last year and never missed a day of work even went in off-schedule lots of times when they called him in.
Mom and I have mixed feelings about it. Zach is going to be 20 this Nov. Will be nice to have the place to our self. But we are sure wanting him to be READY to be on his own. Oh well only time will tell

Morning Everyone,
Busy day today. Gotta get stuff done early so I can head out to a friend's wedding later this afternoon.
My daughter returned last night from the summer session at college. She's home for about 5 weeks, then she and my wife head to Scotland. She'll be an exchange student at the Univ. of Dundee the whole school year. Kinda scary but we're excited for her. My wife will fly over with her to help get things set up. If we can swing it, we'll all head over to see her next Spring during our son's high school Spring Break.

It has been probably the most stressfull week of my life, but I made it. I passed the promotion board! Today, I went to verify my points and they were off. I'm not worried. I still need to get my records updated with some information that wasn't on there. I studied like a monster and passed it with flying colors too. I will be on for a bit! Soon to be... Staff Sergeant.
